About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes is a new charity which aims to help Servicemen and Women who have been wounded during operational tours. The Charity was set up by Bryn Parry, a former Green Jacket Soldier. He was inspired to do something to help and support wounded soldiers after visiting Selly Oak Hospital and Headley Court Tri-service Rehabilitation Centre.
Supported by Chief of General Staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt and working closely with the Army Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes’ first aim is to raise vital funds to build a new gym and full size swimming pool complex at Headley Court. The new facilities will help wounded soldiers with the long process of rehabilitation and recovery.
